A Tennis Academy in Boris Becker’s name got its official go-ahead. The academy will be built in Hochheim, a German city, between Wiesbaden and Mainz. The academy will be home to the world’s largest indoor hall with 21 courts, 18 outdoor courts, a hotel with 110 rooms, a restaurant, a high school and a Boris Becker Museum. According to the investor Khaled Ezzedine, the projects are valued round about 22 million euro and is to be completed in autumn 2021.
According to Becker, he wants “to take care of the players and coaches, even if not every week, this is a matter close to my heart”.
